A power of attorney quote in Dubai has two parts. The official notary fee is AED 100 per signature, set by Dubai’s notary fee schedule. Everything else is the provider’s service fee: drafting, translation and processing. A fair quote shows the all-in total before you pay. At Tas-sheel, the complete package starts at AED 1,200.
We prepare and notarise POAs through our power of attorney service in Dubai, from our office near Al Qusais Metro and fully online. Here’s what a complete quote looks like, what changes the price, and the questions that catch hidden charges.
These are the government notary charges under Executive Council Resolution No. 72 of 2025, in force since 15 September 2025:
| Official charge | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Notary attestation of a POA signature | AED 100 per signature | Every general or special POA |
| Attesting a translator’s signature | AED 25 per page | When a certified translation is notarised |
| Notary attending outside the office | AED 100 or AED 1,000 | Home or hospital visits, depending on circumstances |
So if two people sign as principals, the notary fee alone is AED 200. No provider can make that lower. If a quote is far below this, ask what’s been left out.
Many providers quote drafting first, then add the notary fee, government charges and translation later. We quote one package price for the whole process, end to end. Here’s what it covers. Use it as the checklist for any quote you compare.
| Included in the Tas-sheel package | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Document verification and expert consultation | A legal advisor checks your IDs and details and advises on the wording before drafting, so the notary doesn’t reject the POA for a mismatch |
| Drafting in Arabic and English | Bilingual wording from the start, so you don’t pay a separate translator |
| Notary fees | The AED 100 per signature is already in the price, so nothing is added at the notary stage |
| Submission and government charges | All official charges included, so the price you’re quoted is the price you pay |
| Unlimited amendments before video verification | Fix a name or a power before the video call, so changes don’t cost extra |
| Payment after verification | You pay once your document is verified, so you never pay for a POA that wasn’t notarised |
The price depends on the residency status of the principal (the person giving the authority) and the number of signatures.
| Principal | Package price | Each additional signature |
|---|---|---|
| UAE resident (valid Emirates ID) | AED 1,200 | + AED 350 |
| Non-resident | AED 1,350 | + AED 350 |
Two worked examples:
The notary fee is the same across Dubai. Quotes differ because of the service fee and what’s bundled into it.
A low quote often covers drafting only. The notary fee, government charges and Arabic translation come later. To compare fairly, add every line into one all-in total. Then compare that total with an end-to-end package.
Want an all-in quote? Send us what the POA is for and who’s signing. We’ll reply with the total before you commit. Get a POA quote on WhatsApp or see what a POA costs in Dubai.
Most mistakes that get a POA rejected start with a quote that didn’t say what it covered. Ask:

Usually an Emirates ID or passport for each principal, the attorney’s ID details, and the details of the property, vehicle, account or case. The full list depends on the purpose; see the documents you need for a POA. Sending the right papers first avoids corrections later.
A cheap POA is expensive if the bank or land department rejects it. You pay for redrafting and the notary fee again. Before you approve the draft, check whether your POA will be accepted by the authority you’re giving it to.
The notary fee is the same either way. The UAE Ministry of Justice has offered a digital POA service since 2022, so most POAs no longer need an office visit. Here’s how online POA notarisation works step by step.
What online does change is your time:
From AED 1,200 for UAE residents with a valid Emirates ID and AED 1,350 for non-residents. Each extra signature adds AED 350. The price covers verification, consultation, bilingual drafting, amendments, notary and government charges.
AED 100 per signature for a general or special POA, under Dubai Executive Council Resolution No. 72 of 2025. Drafting, translation and processing are charged separately by the provider.
Usually because it leaves out the notary fee, government charges, Arabic translation or amendments. Ask for the all-in total. Our package includes all of these.
With Tas-sheel, changes before video verification are free. After notarisation, a corrected POA needs a new notary fee of AED 100 per signature.
With Tas-sheel, you pay after your document has been verified.
